Refund Policy

Shimit Foundation has established a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent handling of refund requests as digital payments become more frequent. We expect donors to exercise due care and diligence when making donations but recognize that errors or changes of mind may occur.

Each refund request will be examined, and we will endeavor to process the refund. Additional information or documents may be required, and donors must cooperate in this regard. However, Shimit Foundation is not obliged to issue refunds and may decline requests at its discretion, especially if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

To request a refund, you must contact Shimit Foundation in writing or by email within 15 days of the donation date, whether the donation was made online, electronically, or through other means, or if a cheque/demand draft was handed over, authorized, or dispatched.

Your written request must state the reason for the refund and include the following donation details:

  • Date of donation
  • Donation amount
  • Credit Card number (last 4 digits only, if applicable)
  • Donation-ID (if the donation was made online)

The refund will be processed within seven working days.

All decisions made by Shimit Foundation regarding refunds will be final and binding on the donor.
